Chbika is a unique destination where the beauty of the ocean, mountains and sand co-exist in perfect harmony: its architecture reflects the surrounding environment, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings. Chbika is approximately 400 km south of Agadir and adjacent to the island of Fuerteventura (one of the Atlantic Ocean’s Canary Islands), with a total land area of 15 million sqm. The project masterplan reflects a modern oasis of harmony characterized by a western Moroccan cultural blend. It offers world-class hotels, a mix of villas and apartments, atmospheric riads and even customizable mansions in the Kosour neighbourhood. Like all other ODH signature towns, Chbika will feature state-of-the-art facilities including a marina and shopping and dining outlets, as well as a medina-style handcraft center and a medical facility. The project has been designated in a new integrated tourism zone. The project company (Oued Chbika) has the right to acquire the freehold of 5 million sqm of land for Phase 1 and approximately 10 million sqm of land for Phase 2 subject to certain conditions. The project company has the right to transfer its rights under the development agreement subject to certain conditions. In line with the Moroccan government's vision for sustainable development, the Chbika project in Morocco aims at developing a virtuous circle of social and cultural development in the provinces of southern Morocco and encourages local people to take part of it.
